The Venetian Winged Lion is located on Athenon Avenue, along the Finikoudes promenade. From anywhere along the promenade, simply walk towards the Medieval Castle of Larnaca. The statue is situated in front of the pier, near the castle entrance. The area is pedestrian-friendly and easily accessible.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus, take any Larnaca city bus that stops along the Finikoudes promenade. Bus routes 425 and 429 are common routes that service the area. Get off at a stop near the Medieval Castle. From the bus stop, the Winged Lion is a short walk towards the pier. A single bus fare costs approximately €1.50-€2.50 depending on the time of the day.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available in Larnaca. Simply ask to be dropped off at Finikoudes promenade near the Medieval Castle. From there, the Winged Lion is easily visible.
