Driving
To reach Platania National Reserve by car, head towards the Troodos Mountains. From Kakopetria village, drive 6 km on the road to Troodos. Look for signs for Platania, approximately 5 km from Kakopetria. Turn left into the site and follow the signs to the parking area. There are no tolls on this route, and parking is free.
Public Transport
To reach Platania by public transport, take a bus from Limassol or Nicosia heading towards Troodos. Get off at the Platres stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Platania. A one-way bus ticket from Limassol or Nicosia to Troodos costs approximately €2-€5. From the Platres bus stop, a taxi to Platania is also an option, costing approximately €10-€15.
