    From Nicosia or Limassol, take a bus towards Troodos and alight at Kakopetria. From Kakopetria, take a local bus or taxi to Platania, approximately 6km away. Alternatively, walk from Kakopetria, following the B9 road towards Troodos. The bus fare from Nicosia or Limassol to Kakopetria ranges from €4-€8.
