    From Kakopetria, head towards Troodos on the B9 road. Platania is approximately 6km from Kakopetria, located on the left side of the road before the Platania Forestry Station. Parking is available near the picnic site. A taxi from Kakopetria to Platania will cost approximately €15-€20.

    From Nicosia or Limassol, take a bus towards Troodos and alight at Kakopetria. From Kakopetria, take a local bus or taxi to Platania, approximately 6km away. Alternatively, walk from Kakopetria, following the B9 road towards Troodos. The bus fare from Nicosia or Limassol to Kakopetria ranges from €4-€8.
