Getting There

    From Makronissos Beach, head east on the coastal road (A1) towards Ayia Napa. Continue driving for about 5 minutes until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Nissi Avenue (B1) and continue straight. After about 1.5 km, take a left turn at the traffic lights onto the Ayia Thekla Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 km, and you will find Ayia Thekla Chapel on your right. There is parking available nearby.

    From Makronissos Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop (you can ask locals for directions). Take the bus heading towards Ayia Napa. The bus will typically run every 30 minutes, and the fare is around €1.50. Alight at the Ayia Thekla stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the chapel. Simply head southeast on Ayia Thekla Road, and you will see the chapel on your left.
