Public Transport
To reach Athienou Flower Valley via public transport, begin by taking a bus from a major city like Nicosia or Larnaca to Athienou. From Nicosia, take the Intercity Buses service to Alampra Bus Station, then transfer to the line 56 bus to Athienou City Hall 1, with a total journey time of approximately 1 hour and 33 minutes and costing between €4 and €7. Alternatively, from Larnaca, the line 415 bus goes directly to Athienou. The bus from G.S.Z. Stadium 1 in Larnaca to 28th October-Athienou takes about 32 minutes and costs €1-€3. Once in Athienou, from the Athienou City Hall or 28th October-Athienou bus stop, you can take a taxi or walk approximately 3 kilometers to the flower valley. Local taxi services are available; expect to pay around €6-€8 for the short taxi ride to the valley. Walking is also an option, allowing you to enjoy the local scenery.
Taxi
From either Larnaca International Airport or the city of Nicosia, a taxi provides a direct route to Athienou Flower Valley. A taxi from Larnaca to Athienou typically costs between €25 and €30 and takes around 21 minutes. From Nicosia, a taxi ride to Athienou will take approximately 46 minutes and cost between €55 and €70. Upon arrival in Athienou, the taxi can take you directly to the flower valley, or to a closer drop-off point from where you can walk the remaining distance. Confirm the final destination and fare with the driver before starting the journey.
Driving
If driving, Athienou Flower Valley is accessible via well-maintained roads from major cities like Larnaca and Nicosia. From Larnaca, the drive is approximately 20 kilometers and takes about 21 minutes. From Nicosia, the distance is around 50 kilometers, with a drive time of approximately 46 minutes. There are several public parking lots available in Athienou. Parking is free. From the parking area, follow local signs to the flower valley entrance. Be aware that during peak season, parking may be limited.
