Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum: A Ride Through History

Step back in time at the Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum, a labor of love established by motorcycle enthusiast Andreas Nicolaou. Located in the heart of Nicosia's Old Town, the museum is dedicated to preserving the history of motorcycles in Cyprus from 1914 to 1983. The museum's extensive collection features over 450 motorcycles from various manufacturers, including AJS, MV Agusta, Matchless, Norton, BSA, Triumph, Ariel, and BMW. Among the exhibits are several motorcycles with unique ties to Cyprus's history. These include three Cyprus Police motorcycles that once served as part of Archbishop Makarios III's presidential escort, a motorcycle used by EOKA fighter Stylianos Lenas, and the motorcycle of Zeki Isa, the island's first motorcycle champion. Beyond the bikes themselves, the museum also displays a collection of vintage photographs, memorabilia, and accessories, offering visitors a glimpse into the motorcycling culture of the past. The museum also features a gift shop, accessories shop, and a small coffee shop.
