Car
If you're driving from Nicosia city center, head south on Makarios Avenue. Continue straight for about 8 km until you reach the junction for the A1 highway. Merge onto the A1 highway towards Limassol. After approximately 15 km, take exit 18 towards Larnaca/Nicosia/Limassol. Keep following the signs for Nicosia. After another 10 km, take exit 3 towards Xylofagou. Follow the signs for Filani Lake, which is around 5 km from the exit. You will see signs directing you towards Filani Lake. The entire drive should take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Be aware that parking is available near the lake.

To reach Filani Lake via public transport, start from the central bus station in Nicosia, known as the 'Nicosia Bus Station.' You will need to take a bus towards Larnaca or Limassol. Look for bus number 160 or 161 which will take you towards the outskirts. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the bus stop at 'Xylofagou,' disembark and look for local taxis or shared vans that can take you directly to Filani Lake. The taxi fare may range from €10 to €15. Ensure you confirm the fare before the ride.
