Local buses (Dolmuş) serve Kyrenia and the surrounding areas. The main bus station is located near Kyrenia Castle, a short walk from the harbour. From the bus station, follow signs towards the harbour. Bus fares typically range from 2.50 to 5 TL for local trips. Be aware that bus schedules can be infrequent, especially in the evenings.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Kyrenia and can be hailed on the street or found at taxi stands. A taxi ride from a nearby location to Kyrenia Harbour typically costs around €10 to €15. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey, as taxis generally do not use meters.
Driving
If driving, navigate to Kyrenia (Girne) and follow signs for the city center. Kyrenia Harbour is located in the heart of the city. Parking is available at the 'Girne Marina' parking lot and along 20 Temmuz Kordonboyu Caddesi Street. Parking fees range from €2 to €5 for several hours. Paid parking costs 3-8 lira depending on the time. Free parking is available before 8 am and after 8 pm Monday to Saturday, and all day on Sunday.
