Bus
From the center of Nicosia, head to the main bus station, known as the 'Solomou Square Bus Station'. Find the bus route that goes to 'Politiko'. Buses to Politiko operate regularly; check the schedule posted at the station. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which should take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive in Politiko, ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the stop nearest to the Monastery of Saint Herakleidios. Once you disembark, the monastery is a short 10-minute walk away.

If you are in the old town of Nicosia, you can walk to the bus station and take a bus to Politiko as described above. Alternatively, if you enjoy long walks and the weather is pleasant, you can walk to the Monastery of Saint Herakleidios directly. Head towards the north of Nicosia, following the signs towards 'Politiko'. The walk is approximately 15 km and will take around 3-4 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as this is a long trek.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Nicosia to the Monastery of Saint Herakleidios.
