Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near the city center, start at Eleftheria Square. From the square, head north along Digeni Akrita Avenue (also known as Makarios III Avenue). Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Patriarchou Grigoriou Street. Turn left onto Patriarchou Grigoriou Street and walk for about 150 meters. The House of Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios - Ethnological Museum will be on your right, located at number 20.

• Walking

  From the Ledra Street crossing point (if you are coming from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), walk south along Ledra Street until you reach the end. Turn right onto Digeni Akrita Avenue and proceed until you reach the intersection with Patriarchou Grigoriou Street. Turn left onto Patriarchou Grigoriou Street and after walking about 150 meters, the museum will be on your right at number 20.

• Public Transport

  Take a local bus from any bus stop that serves routes within the city. Look for a bus that stops at the city center. Once you reach Eleftheria Square, follow the walking directions provided above to reach the museum. Alternatively, you can ask the bus driver for the nearest stop to Patriarchou Grigoriou Street.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to walk, you can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Nicosia.
