Public Transport
From Nicosia or Limassol, take a bus towards Troodos. Alight at the village of Kakopetria. From Kakopetria, you can take a local bus or a taxi to Platania, which is approximately 6km away. Alternatively, you can walk from Kakopetria, following the B9 road towards Troodos; it's a 10-minute walk from the Platres bus stop. Bus fare from Nicosia or Limassol to Kakopetria ranges from €4-€8. A taxi from Kakopetria to Platania will cost approximately €10-€15.

If you are driving from the center of Troodos, head east on the B9 road. Continue on B9 for about 10 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Platres. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Platania. Follow the road until you reach the entrance to the Platania National Reserve, which will be on your left. There is parking available nearby.
