The well-marked path begins on a paved road before turning into a forest trail. The walk to the trailhead from the square is short and easy.

  • Public Transport

    From major cities like Nicosia or Limassol, take a bus to Troodos Square. From Limassol, bus 64 will take you to Troodos Square. From Paphos, bus 633 will take you to Agios Nikolaos, from where you can take a taxi. From Troodos Square, walk 150m south towards the police station to find the start of the trail. Bus tickets from Nicosia or Limassol to Troodos cost approximately €2-€5. A taxi from Agios Nikolaos to the Persephone Trail will cost approximately €20-€30.

  • Driving

    From Nicosia, take the A9 motorway towards Troodos. The A9 then becomes the B9 highway. From Limassol, take the B8 highway. From Paphos, take the B8/E801. Follow signs to Troodos Square. Parking is available at Troodos Square free of charge. From the parking area, walk 150m south towards the police station to find the start of the trail.
