    Getting There

    Driving

    If driving from Kakopetria, head towards Troodos on the B9 road. Platania is approximately 6km from Kakopetria on the left side of the road, before the Platania Forestry Station. Look for signs indicating 'Platania Excursion Area' or 'Platania Camping Site'. Parking is available at the site.

    Public Transport

    From Nicosia or Limassol, take a bus towards Troodos and alight at Kakopetria. From Kakopetria, local buses or taxis can take you to Platania, approximately 6km away. Alternatively, you can walk from Kakopetria, following the B9 road towards Troodos. The bus fare from Nicosia or Limassol to Kakopetria ranges from €4-€8. A taxi from Kakopetria to Platania will cost approximately €10-€15.
