Emmeleia Sea Cave: A Hidden Gem of Ayia Napa

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the main road in the Tylliria Region. Head towards the coast and follow the signs to Paphos along the B6 highway. After approximately 40 km, you will reach the junction for Ayia Napa. Take the exit toward Ayia Napa and continue on the road until you reach Kryou Nerou Street. The Emmeleia sea cave is located at Kryou Nerou 5341, which will be on your right near the coast. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there may be a small fee to park.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Emmeleia sea cave using public transport, first, take a bus from any location in the Tylliria Region to the nearest major town, which is Ayia Napa. The bus service is generally reliable and runs frequently. Once you arrive in Ayia Napa, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Kryou Nerou Street. The sea cave is a short distance from the bus station. Expect to pay a small fee for the bus ticket, usually around €2-€3. Taxis may have a starting fare plus additional charges per kilometer.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Kryou Nerou Street, you can simply walk to the Emmeleia sea cave. The area is accessible by foot, and you will enjoy scenic views along the coast. Follow the coastal path that leads to the cave, making sure to wear suitable footwear as the terrain might be uneven.
