Public Transport - Tram
If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the nearest tram stop, such as 'Hlavní nádraží' (Main Train Station) or 'Zelný trh'. Take tram number 1 or 6 in the direction of 'Bystrc, ZOO'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Kraví hora' stop. From there, it's a short walk: exit the tram, walk up the hill towards the observatory, and follow the signs to 'Hvězdárna a planetárium'. The destination is located at Kraví hora 522/2, 616 00 Brno-střed.
Public Transport - Bus
From the city center, head to the 'Zelný trh' bus stop. Take bus number 84 towards 'Kníničky'. After about 20 minutes, disembark at 'Kraví hora' stop. The observatory is a short walk from there; simply follow the signs or walk uphill in the direction of the large building on the hill. The address is Kraví hora 522/2, 616 00 Brno-střed.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from the city center, specifically from the Špilberk Castle. Head northeast on Úvoz street, then continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kraví hora street. Turn right and walk uphill towards the observatory. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you'll enjoy scenic views of the city along the way. The observatory is located at Kraví hora 522/2, 616 00 Brno-střed.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, start at the city center and head towards the bike paths leading to Kraví hora. Follow the bike lanes on Moravské náměstí, then make your way up to the observatory, which is situated on a hill. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
