Public Transport
To reach Moravian Karst from the city center of Brno, take tram number 1 from the 'Hlavní nádraží' (Main Train Station) towards 'Bystrc, Ečerova'. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Svratka'. From there, switch to bus number 202 heading towards 'Březina, rozc. Svitavy'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at 'Moravský Kras'. The Moravian Karst entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of Brno's central park, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Moravian Karst. Head north towards 'Smetanovo nábřeží' and follow the path along the river until you reach 'Husova Street'. From there, navigate to 'Křídlovická Street' and continue straight towards the countryside. It is approximately a 10 km walk, so ensure you have enough time and water.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can hail a taxi from anywhere in the city, or use a taxi app. Provide the driver with the destination 'Moravian Karst', and they will take you directly to the entrance. The ride typically takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic and costs around 500 CZK.
