Car
If you are driving, make your way to Satalice, located approximately 15 km east of Prague. From the center of Prague, take the D11 motorway (E67) towards Hradec Králové. After about 10 km, merge onto the R10 road toward Mladá Boleslav. Continue for about 5 km, then take exit 6 toward Satalice. Follow the signs for Satalice, and once you enter the village, look for signs to Bažantnice. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Bažantnice v Satalicích using public transport, start by taking a train from Prague's main station (Hlavní nádraží) to the station 'Praha - Klánovice'. The journey takes about 20 minutes. From Klánovice, you can take bus number 221 towards Satalice. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Satalice, Bažantnice'. From the bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to Bažantnice. Remember to validate your train and bus tickets before boarding. A single ticket for the train will cost around 30 CZK, and the bus fare is included in the same ticket if bought for the whole journey.
