Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of České Budějovice, head to the main bus station at Nádražní 1. Take bus number 10 towards Český Krumlov, which departs regularly. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Český Krumlov bus station, you can follow the signs to the town center, which is about a 15-minute walk away. Look for the signs that lead you to the main square (náměstí), where you will find Český Krumlov.

• Train

  Make your way to the České Budějovice train station located at Nádražní 1. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Český Krumlov. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Český Krumlov station, exit the station and follow the path leading into the town. Turn left onto the main road and walk for about 20 minutes to reach the historic center of Český Krumlov.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, you can head directly to Český Krumlov, which is approximately 23 km from České Budějovice. Start at the city center, head towards the main road (Národní třída) and follow it towards the southwest. The route takes you through beautiful countryside and takes about 5-6 hours, so plan accordingly and ensure you have enough water and snacks.

• Bicycle Rental

  You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the center of České Budějovice. Once you have your bike, head towards the south on the cycling path leading to Český Krumlov. The ride is approximately 23 km and takes about 1.5 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way as you cycle through the countryside.
