    Getting There

    Public Transport - Bus

    From the center of České Budějovice, head to the bus station, which is located near the main square (náměstí Přemysla Otakara II). Look for the bus line 10 or 11 heading towards Vrbné. Purchase your ticket from the ticket machine or the bus driver. Once on the bus, stay on for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Vrbné stop. From there, you can walk to Vrbenská tůň, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the nature area.

    Walking

    If you prefer walking, start from the main square (náměstí Přemysla Otakara II) and head south on Karla IV street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kranzerova street, then turn left. Continue on Kranzerova street until you reach the large park area. Walk through the park towards the south until you find signs for Vrbenská tůň. The walk should take you approximately an hour.

    Bicycle

    For a more active option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental places in the city. Start at the main square and head towards the Vltava river. Follow the riverside bike path south. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Vrbenská tůň. The ride should take about 25-30 minutes.
