The Enigmatic Abandoned Industrial Tower

Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey from the center of Český Krumlov. Head towards the main square (Náměstí Svornosti) and exit the square onto Radniční Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the street called Špičák. Turn left onto Špičák Street. Walk along this road until you find a small path on your right that leads towards the mountains. Follow this path as it gradually ascends. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will come across the Unnamed Road. Continue on this road; the abandoned industrial tower will be visible from a distance. You will need to navigate through some overgrown areas to get closer to the tower.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Český Krumlov. Start your ride from the town center and head towards the river. Follow the path along the Vltava River until you reach the bridge at the end of the town. Cross the bridge and take a left turn onto the cycle path that leads up the hill. After a short climb, you will find a trail that forks off to the right. Take this path and follow it until you reach the Unnamed Road. From there, the abandoned industrial tower will be in sight. Prepare for some rough terrain.

• Public Transport

  For those who prefer public transport, take a local bus from the main bus station in Český Krumlov. Look for buses headed towards the nearby villages. Get off at the nearest stop to the Unnamed Road. From the bus stop, walk back towards the main road and follow it north until you reach the intersection with the Unnamed Road. The abandoned industrial tower is located along this road. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
