If you are driving from any location in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, head towards the town of Bad Schandau. From Bad Schandau, take the B172 highway towards Dresden. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Dresden. Follow signs for 'Loschwitz' and then for 'Schwebebahn' (Suspension Railway). The address to input into your GPS is 'Pillnitzer Landstraße 5, 01326 Dresden'. There is parking available near the railway, but be aware that there may be parking fees.
