Bus
From Hradec Králové, walk to the Hradec Králové bus station (Autobusové nádraží) located at the corner of Třída Karla IV and Špitálská street. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Janské Lázně. Buses to Janské Lázně run regularly, so check the timetable. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Janské Lázně, disembark at the main bus stop (Autobusová zastávka) and follow the signs towards the hiking trails. Černá hora is accessible from there, and you can follow the marked trails leading to the mountain peak.

Train and Bus
Start at the Hradec Králové train station (Hlavní nádraží). Take a train towards Trutnov and alight at the station of Trutnov. From Trutnov station, exit and locate the bus stop nearby. Take a bus to Janské Lázně, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Janské Lázně bus station, look for signs directing you to the hiking trails leading to Černá hora. The trails are well-marked and suitable for walking.

If you prefer walking, you can take a scenic route, but be prepared for a long trek. Start from the center of Hradec Králové and head towards the east, following the local signs that guide you through the parks and outskirts. This is a lengthy journey, approximately 20 kilometers, and may take several hours, so ensure you have water and snacks. Follow the paths leading to the outskirts of the town and continue towards Janské Lázně. From there, join the trails that lead up to Černá hora.
