Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest town, such as Harrachov or Špindlerův Mlýn. Follow the signs to Janské Lázně. Once you reach Janské Lázně, navigate towards Černohorská street (Černohorská 293). Look for the parking area near the base of Černá Hora mountain. Parking costs approximately 100 CZK per day. From the parking area, you can either take the cable car or hike up to the lookout.

Public Transportation
To reach Černá Hora Lookout using public transportation, take a bus to Janské Lázně. Buses run regularly from major towns such as Liberec or Hradec Králové. Upon arriving at the Janské Lázně bus station, follow signs to the cable car station. The cable car ride to the summit costs around 200 CZK for a round trip. Once at the top, follow the signs to the Černá Hora Lookout, which is a short walk from the cable car station.

Hiking
If you prefer to hike, there are several marked trails leading to the Černá Hora Lookout from various starting points within Krkonoše National Park. One popular trail starts from the town of Janské Lázně, where you will follow the red hiking trail. This hike is approximately 3.5 km and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Be prepared for a moderate climb and ensure you have sturdy hiking shoes. There is no additional cost for hiking, but you may want to carry water and snacks.
