Look for signs that direct you towards Krkonošsko-jesenická magistrála. After approximately 2 km, you will see a parking area on your left. Park your car here as the remaining distance to Kotelní jámy is best covered on foot.

From the parking area, follow the marked hiking trail that leads towards Kotelní jámy. The trail is well-marked with signs indicating the direction and distance. It is approximately a 1.5 km hike from the parking area, which should take about 30-40 minutes. The trail offers scenic views of the surrounding nature, so take your time to enjoy the surroundings.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest city, Liberec, to Vítkovice v Krkonoších. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Vítkovice, you can walk to the parking area mentioned earlier, which is about 2 km from the bus stop. Follow the same hiking instructions from the parking area to reach Kotelní jámy.
