From Lipno Dam, head east on the road towards Lipno nad Vltavou. Continue on the road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the D3 highway. Merge onto the D3 highway heading north towards Linz. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit toward B127/Linz. Continue on B127 for about 10 kilometers, following signs for Linz. Once you enter the city, follow the signs for Zentrum (City Center). Hauptplatz, Linz’s main square, will be located in the heart of the city, where you can find parking options nearby. Be aware that parking in the city center may incur costs, typically ranging from €1 to €3 per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Linz from Lipno Dam using public transportation, first take a bus from Lipno nad Vltavou to the nearest train station, which is in Český Krumlov. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes and tickets cost around €2. From Český Krumlov, take a train to Linz. The train journey lasts about 1 hour and tickets cost approximately €10. Upon arrival at Linz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), you can either walk or take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Linz Zentrum' (City Center) and get off at the Hauptplatz stop. The main square will be just a short walk from the tram stop.
