Getting There

  • Car

    From Lipno Dam, head east on Road 163 towards the town of Hněvkovice. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Hněvkovice, follow the signs to Route 34, which you will take north towards Hluboká nad Vltavou. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to The State Chateau of Hluboká. There is parking available near the chateau.

  • Public Transportation

    From Lipno Dam, you can take a bus from the Lipno nad Vltavou bus station to the town of České Budějovice. Buses operate regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in České Budějovice, transfer to another bus heading to Hluboká nad Vltavou. This second leg of the trip will take around 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance for any changes. The bus will stop near the chateau, and from there, it's a short walk to the entrance.
