Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Blansko, which is a central point in the Moravian Karst region. From Blansko, take the road towards Olomučany. As you approach Olomučany, look for signs directing you to Máchův památník. The final approach is along a less populated road named 'Unnamed Road'. Be aware that parking may be limited, so plan to arrive early if possible.
Public Transportation
Start your journey by taking a train from Brno to Blansko. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Blansko, transfer to a local bus (line 201 or 202) that heads to Olomučany. Once in Olomučany, you can either walk or take a taxi for the last leg to Máchův památník. The taxi ride will be approximately 5-10 minutes, and the fare should be around CZK 100-150.
Walking
If you are already in Olomučany and prefer to walk, Máchův památník is about a 30-minute walk from the center of the village. Head northwest on the main road, follow the signs for Máchův památník, and enjoy the scenic views of the Moravian Karst on your way.
