Car
If you are driving, head towards the town of Ostrov u Macochy. From Brno, take the D1 highway towards Vyškov, then take the exit for E462 towards Blansko. Continue on E462 until you reach the town of Blansko, then follow the signs to Ostrov u Macochy. The Balcarka Cave is located at 679 14 Ostrov u Macochy. There is a parking area near the cave entrance where you can leave your vehicle. Please note that there may be a parking fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Balcarka Cave via public transportation, take a train from Brno to Blansko. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Blansko, transfer to a bus heading to Ostrov u Macochy. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Ostrov u Macochy, jeskyně' which is close to Balcarka Cave. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
Walking
If you arrive at the Ostrov u Macochy bus stop, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Balcarka Cave. Head towards the main road and follow the signs to the cave. The path is well-marked, but be prepared for some slight elevation changes as you approach the entrance.
