Car
If you are traveling by car from the central Ore Mountains area, head towards the town of Sokolov. You can take the E48 road, which connects several towns in the Ore Mountains. Follow signs for Sokolov. Once you reach Sokolov, continue driving on the E48 until you see signs for Staré Sedlo. The Eger Valley is located at the address 356 01 Staré Sedlo-Sokolov 1. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Eger Valley using public transportation, first take a train or bus to Sokolov. Trains from Karlovy Vary or other nearby towns operate regularly. Once in Sokolov, you can take the local bus to Staré Sedlo. Check the local transport schedules for the most accurate timings. Upon arrival at the Staré Sedlo bus station, Eger Valley is just a short walk away. Note that tickets for the local bus may cost around 20-30 CZK.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the Staré Sedlo bus station, exit the station and head south towards the main road. Turn left onto the main road (E48) and proceed until you see the signs for Eger Valley. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station to the valley. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes, as the path may include uneven terrain.
