Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Mikulov. Head southeast on Zámecká street toward the roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto the road leading to the Pálava Protected Landscape Area. Follow the signs for Kočičí skála, which is approximately a 10-minute drive from Mikulov. There is parking available near the entrance to the hiking trails. Be aware that some parking areas may charge a fee, generally around 50 CZK for a few hours.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from the Mikulov bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Lednice or Valtice. Disembark at the stop 'Pálava - Kočičí skála'. From the bus stop, follow the marked hiking trails towards Kočičí skála, which is about a 15-minute walk. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently, especially on weekends.
Walking from Nearby Locations
If you are already within the Pálava region, you can hike to Kočičí skála from various starting points. A popular route is from the village of Pavlov. Start at the Pavlov parking area and follow the signs for the hiking trail leading to Kočičí skála.
