Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Plzeň main train station (Hlavní nádraží), exit the station and head south towards the city center. Walk straight down the main street (Klatovská třída) for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with náměstí Republiky (Republic Square). At the square, you will see the iconic Cathedral of St. Bartholomew. From the square, head east on Smetanovy Sady and continue straight until you reach the large roundabout (náměstí Míru). At the roundabout, take the second exit onto U Prazdroje street. Pivovarská brána is located on this street at number 113, just a short walk away.

• Public Transport - Tram

  From the Plzeň main train station (Hlavní nádraží), you can take tram number 1 (direction: Bolevec). Board the tram at the station and travel for 3 stops. Get off at the 'Náměstí Republiky' stop. From there, walk east towards Smetanovy Sady and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto U Prazdroje street. Pivovarská brána will be located at number 113 along this street.

• Walking

  Starting from the Great Synagogue, walk north towards the intersection with Klatovská třída. Turn left onto Klatovská třída and continue for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with U Prazdroje street. Turn right onto U Prazdroje and walk straight for approximately 300 meters. Pivovarská brána will be on your right at number 113.

• Public Transport - Bus

  If you are near the Plzeň City Center, you can take bus number 30 from 'Tylova' bus stop. Ride the bus for 5 stops and get off at 'U Prazdroje' stop. From there, walk a short distance down U Prazdroje street, and you will find Pivovarská brána at number 113.
