Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start at any metro station in Prague. If you are near the city center, take Line C (the red line) from stations like Muzeum or Florenc towards Háje. Get off at the Vyšehrad station. Once you exit the station, head towards the main exit and follow the signs to Pod Vyšehradem street. Walk along Pod Vyšehradem street for about 5-10 minutes. You'll see St. Michael Archangel on your right at Pod Vyšehradem 14. The church is situated near the Vyšehrad fortress, which you can also explore.

    If you are in the vicinity of the Vyšehrad fortress, simply walk towards the main entrance of the fortress. Once inside, follow the signs towards the church area. After enjoying the views and historical sites, exit the fortress towards Pod Vyšehradem street. St. Michael Archangel will be located at number 14 on your right side. The walk from the fortress to the church takes about 5 minutes.

    Find the nearest tram stop. Take tram number 3, 7, or 21 towards your destination. Get off at the 'Vyšehrad' stop. After exiting the tram, head downhill towards Pod Vyšehradem street. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see St. Michael Archangel at Pod Vyšehradem 14 on your right.
