Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're already in Malá Strana, one of the best ways to reach Petřín Tower is by walking. Start at the famous Charles Bridge (Karlův most). From the bridge, head towards the entrance of Kampa Park, which is a scenic route. Once you enter Kampa Park, follow the path that leads you along the Vltava River. As you walk, keep heading towards the direction of Petřín Hill. You will eventually see signs directing you towards Petřín Park. The walk takes about 20-30 minutes and is quite pleasant, with beautiful views of the river and the surrounding area.

    Another great option is to take the Petřín Funicular Railway. To access the funicular, walk from Malá Strana towards Újezd Street. The funicular station is located at the bottom of Petřín Hill (the station is called 'Újezd').
