Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major town, which is Klatovy. Head east on the D5 motorway, then take exit 123 towards Nýrsko. Continue on the road until you reach Nýrsko. The castle is located at Nýrsko 22, 340 22 Nýrsko. Follow the signs to Pajrek Castle, which is approximately 1 km from the center of Nýrsko. There is no parking fee at the castle, but ensure to park in designated areas.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Pajrek Castle using public transportation, take a train or bus to Nýrsko from the nearest city, which is Klatovy. The bus service is frequent, and you can check schedules at the local bus station or online. Once you arrive at the Nýrsko bus station, it's a short 15-minute walk to the castle. Simply head southeast on Nýrsko 22 road, following the signs toward Pajrek Castle. There may be a small fee for the bus or train, typically around 30-50 CZK (Czech Koruna).

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Pajrek Castle. If you are in Nýrsko, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop. The route to the castle is scenic and approximately 2.5 km from the town center. Follow the local road signs indicating the direction to Pajrek Castle. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations. Renting a bicycle may cost around 200 CZK for a half-day.

  If you are already in the vicinity of Nýrsko, you can also walk to Pajrek Castle. The walk from the town center to the castle takes about 30 minutes.
