Walking
The History Museum is located on náměstí Republiky (Republic Square) in the heart of Olomouc's city center. From the Upper Square (Horní náměstí), walk northeast. The museum will be on your right, a short walk past the Neptune Fountain. No costs involved.

Public Transport
From Olomouc main train station (Olomouc Hlavní Nádraží), take tram line 1, 2, 4 or bus line 14. Tickets can be purchased from vending machines, tobacco shops, or via the DPMO mobile app. A standard ticket costs 25 CZK and is valid for 50 minutes on weekdays and 70 minutes on weekends. Get off at the Náměstí Republiky stop, which is directly in front of the museum.

Taxis are readily available in Olomouc. A taxi ride from the main train station (Olomouc Hlavní Nádraží) to the History Museum will take approximately 5 minutes. The base fare is 30 CZK, with an additional cost of 22 CZK per kilometer. The total fare should be around 140 CZK.

If driving, several parking options are available near the museum. The closest is the paid parking zone on 1. máje Street near Republic Square. Alternatively, use the Central Parking facility on Koželužská Street, which costs 20 CZK per hour. Paid parking zones cost 40-100 CZK per hour and are enforced Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; parking is free on weekends and public holidays.
