    The History Museum is located on náměstí Republiky (Republic Square) in the heart of Olomouc's city center. From the Upper Square (Horní náměstí), walk northeast. The museum will be on your right, a short walk past the Neptune Fountain. No costs involved.

    From Olomouc main train station (Olomouc Hlavní Nádraží), take tram line 1, 2, 4 or bus line 14. Tickets can be purchased from vending machines, tobacco shops, or via the DPMO mobile app. A standard ticket costs 25 CZK and is valid for 50 minutes on weekdays and 70 minutes on weekends. Get off at the Náměstí Republiky stop, which is directly in front of the museum.
