Getting There

  • Walking

    The Triton Fountain is located in the heart of Olomouc on Republic Square. From the Olomouc Main Train Station, walk straight along Holečkova Street until you reach Špitálská Street. Turn left onto Špitálská Street and continue straight until you reach the pedestrian zone. Continue walking straight until you reach Moravian Square, then head towards the north end of the square to the Holy Trinity Column. From there, head northwest on Hlavní třída, then turn left onto nám. Republiky. The fountain is prominently located in the square. The walk is approximately 20-25 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From the Olomouc Main Train Station, take tram number 1 or 7 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Tržnice' stop. Walk straight towards the central Moravian Square. From there, follow the walking directions to the Triton Fountain as described above. The tram ride takes about 10 minutes, and the walk from the tram stop takes around 5 minutes. A single ticket costs CZK 18 and is valid for 40 minutes on weekdays and 60 minutes on weekends.
