Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Nicholas in Žďár nad Sázavou, head towards the town center. From the D1 highway, take exit 119 for Žďár nad Sázavou. Follow signs for the city center (Centrum). Once in the center, navigate to Zámek 2/2, where the Basilica is located. There are parking options available nearby, but be aware that there may be a fee for parking.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach the Basilica by bus, find a local bus station in Vysočina. You can take a bus to Žďár nad Sázavou. Once you arrive at the Žďár nad Sázavou bus station, it's a short 10-15 minute walk to the Basilica. Head southwest on Masarykovo náměstí, then turn right onto Zámek 2/2. The Basilica is located at this address. Check the local bus schedules for the latest timings.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  If you're traveling by train, find a train station in Vysočina and take a train to Žďár nad Sázavou. Upon arrival at the Žďár nad Sázavou train station, you can either walk or take a bus to the Basilica. If walking, it's approximately a 20-minute journey. Exit the station and head towards the town center, then follow the directions to Zámek 2/2. Ensure to check train schedules and fares ahead of your trip.
