The most convenient way to reach Český Šternberk Castle is by car. From Prague, take the D1 motorway towards Brno and exit at junction 41. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once in Český Šternberk, follow signs to the castle. Parking is available in a lot located about 300 meters from the castle. Parking costs approximately 2 EUR for the entire day. Be prepared for a short uphill walk to reach the castle entrance.

Český Šternberk can be reached by public transport, although it requires a bit more planning. From Prague, take a train from Praha Hlavni Nadrazi (main train station) to Český Šternberk. Some trains may require a change at Čerčany. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Alternatively, take bus 135 from Náměstí Míru to Roztyly, then bus 406 to Benešov, and finally bus 791 to Český Šternberk. From the Český Šternberk train station or bus stop, it is a 15-minute walk to the castle. Train tickets range from 100-240 CZK , while bus tickets cost between 2-4 EUR.
