Ringelland: A Unique Zoo and Circus Experience

Ringelland, located in the village of Habrkovice near Kutná Hora, is a unique family-run zoo that combines animal exhibits with circus-style dressage. Founded by the Ringel family, who have decades of experience in breeding and training animals, particularly big cats, Ringelland offers visitors a chance to see a diverse collection of animals in a more intimate setting. The zoo is home to various animals, including Siberian tigers, lions, leopards, llamas, goats, and porcupines. Ringelland is dedicated to conservation and education, providing visitors with information about the animals and their natural habitats. The zoo's design emphasizes natural habitats, allowing visitors to observe the animals in settings that mimic their wild environments. One of the unique aspects of Ringelland is its history of circus animal training. The Ringel family has a long tradition of working with animals in circuses, and they continue to offer dressage performances on weekends during the summer. These shows feature trained lions, goats, and porcupines, providing a unique and entertaining experience for visitors. Ringelland also houses a collection of circus posters, the largest circus poster display in the Czech Republic, with the oldest dating back to 1890. Ringelland is open daily from 10:00 to 16:00.
