  • Walking

    The Bethany Beach History Museum is located within the Town Hall at 214 Garfield Parkway. If you are already in downtown Bethany Beach, it is easily accessible on foot. From the intersection of Garfield Parkway and Atlantic Avenue, walk west on Garfield Parkway. The Town Hall will be on your left. The museum is located in the foyer.

  • Public Transport

    The Bethany Beach Trolley provides transportation around the town. Check the trolley route and schedule for the nearest stop to your location. The trolley is free to ride and operates from Memorial Day through mid-September. From the trolley stop, follow the walking directions to the Town Hall.

  • Driving

    If driving, navigate to 214 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach. Parking is available throughout the town, but can be limited during peak season. From May 15th to September 15th, parking is paid and enforced. Parking costs $4.00 per hour. You can pay at pay stations using credit cards or quarters, or use the ParkMobile app. Daily and weekly permits are available for purchase online, but are not valid on Garfield Parkway. Parking is free outside of the paid season.

Today, the museum is located in the foyer of the Town Hall.Visitors interested in further exploring the town's history can also visit the Dinker-Irvin Museum, a restored early 1900s cottage that offers an immersive experience of life in Bethany Beach's early days.
