Driving
From Harrington, DE, head southwest on DE-14 W/Commerce Street. Continue for approximately 7 miles, then turn left onto Cattail Branch Road. Turn right onto High Stump Road, followed by a left onto Burrsville Road. Taber State Forest will be on your left. Note that some roads leading to the trailhead are dirt roads, but are generally well-maintained. Parking is free and available at the trailhead. Be aware of hunting seasons.
Public Transport
From Wilmington, DE, take the DART First State bus Route 301 to Delaware State University in Dover. From there, transfer to a local taxi service or ride-sharing service for the approximately 30-minute drive to Taber State Forest. Taxi/ride-share costs approximately $40-$50. Confirm DART bus schedules and fares before traveling.
