Lake Gerar Park is located behind the Henlopen Hotel at the North End of the boardwalk. From the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, walk north towards the Henlopen Hotel. The park is a short walk inland from the boardwalk. There are multiple access points to the park from the surrounding streets.

Public Transport
The DART First State bus service provides transportation to Rehoboth Beach. From the Lewes Transit Center or the Rehoboth Park & Ride, take the DART Beach Bus to Rehoboth Avenue. Get off at a stop near the Henlopen Hotel; the park will be a short walk away. A one-way fare is $2.

Parking
Parking is available on the streets surrounding Lake Gerar Park. From May 15 to September 15, parking meters and permits are in effect. Payment in metered areas is required from 10 am to 10 pm. Parking fees are nonrefundable, and the city is not responsible for lost or stolen permits. There are also 30-minute parking spaces available.
