If you are traveling by car from any location within Cape Henlopen State Park, start by exiting the park onto Cape Henlopen Drive. Follow Cape Henlopen Drive until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Coastal Highway). Turn left onto Route 1 South. After approximately 3 miles, take the exit for Lewes/Route 9. Merge onto Route 9 and follow the signs to Lewes. Continue straight into the downtown area of Lewes. Once in town, turn left onto Front Street. Lewes CanalFront Park will be on your right at 211 Front St. There is free parking available on surrounding streets.
