Walking
If starting from the Lewes Public Library, the trailhead is located a short walk away. Head east from the library parking lot towards Gills Neck Road. The trail begins where it terminates at Gills Neck Road near the canal. The library offers parking, restrooms, and water fountains.
Driving
If driving to the Lewes trailhead, parking is available near the Lewes Public Library. From downtown Lewes, follow Savannah Road and turn onto Gills Neck Road. The trailhead will be on your left. Parking at Lewes Beach requires paid parking. Rates vary, but typically cost $2-3 per hour during peak season.
Biking
If biking from Rehoboth Beach, take the Junction & Breakwater Trail towards Lewes. At the intersection of Gills Neck Road, you'll find the connection to the Lewes-Georgetown Trail. Bike racks and a fix-it station are available at the intersection of the Georgetown-Lewes and Junction & Breakwater trails.
