The boardwalk runs parallel to the beach, stretching from the north end near the Bethany Beach Lifesaving Station to the south. The Bethany Beach Trolley provides convenient access to the boardwalk from various locations within the town. The trolley operates from the Friday before Memorial Day through mid-September. The fare is $0.25 each way. You can flag down the trolley at any point along the route, except on Route 26 and Route 1. Check the trolley schedule for specific timings.

Public parking spaces are available on Atlantic Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, but these fill up quickly. Parking is enforced from May 15 to September 15, with rates of $3.00 per hour. Payment can be made at pay stations or via the Parkmobile app. Daily and weekly permits are also available. Free parking is available outside of the paid season.
