From Selbyville, DE, head east on Delaware Route 54 towards the beaches. Depending on your desired destination, continue onto Coastal Highway (Route 1). For Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach, continue north. For Dewey Beach and Rehoboth Beach, continue further north. Parking fees vary by location, with hourly rates around $4.00. Daily and weekly permits are also available in some areas. Be aware that traffic can be heavy during peak summer months.
Public Transport
From various points in Delaware, including Wilmington, the DART Beach Bus provides seasonal service to Rehoboth Beach and other coastal destinations. A single ride costs around $2, with daily passes available for $4. Park & Ride lots are available in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach to avoid parking hassles. The Jolly Trolley offers transportation between Rehoboth and Dewey Beaches for a small fee. One-way tickets are $4 for adults, and daily passes are $8.
