DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum, located in Fenwick Island, Delaware, offers a fascinating journey into maritime history. The museum houses one of the most comprehensive collections of shipwreck artifacts in the Mid-Atlantic, with items recovered from both regional and international wreck sites. The museum displays around 10,000 artifacts at a time, while the other 80% are rotated throughout museum exhibits around the world. Founded in July 1995, the DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum aims to recover and preserve maritime heritage. The museum is located on the second floor of the Sea Shell City store. It also features a working lab, educating guests about marine archaeology and treasure recovery. Note that the museum has limited opening hours, especially outside of peak season.
