Originally opened in 1939 as the Rehoboth Beach Sports Center, the park was purchased by the Fasnacht family in 1962 and rebranded as Funland. The Fasnacht family still owns and operates the park. The park has twenty rides, including five original rides from when the Fasnacht family took over in 1962: the Merry-Go-Round, Boats, Fire Engines, Sky Fighters, and Helicopters.
