From Lewes, DE, follow Cape Henlopen Drive north towards the park entrance. After passing the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal , continue for approximately 1 mile to reach the park entrance. Note that entrance fees are required from March 1 to November 30: $5/day for Delaware vehicles, $10/day for out-of-state vehicles. Parking is available throughout the park, but can be limited during peak season.

The Cape May-Lewes Ferry connects Cape May, NJ, to Lewes, DE. From the Lewes Ferry terminal, Cape Henlopen State Park is approximately 1 mile away. You can walk, bike, or take a taxi/rideshare to the park entrance. Taxi/rideshare services are readily available at the ferry terminal. A short taxi ride to the park entrance will cost approximately $10-$15, plus park entrance fees.

From the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal , you can walk to the entrance of Cape Henlopen State Park in about 20-25 minutes. Follow Cape Henlopen Drive north. The park entrance will be on your right.
