Beach Avenue is easily accessible on foot from most locations in central Cape May. From the Washington Street Mall, walk south towards the ocean. Cross over Beach Avenue to access the promenade and the beach. Walking from the mall takes approximately 5-10 minutes.

During the summer season, Cape May offers a free shuttle service that makes stops throughout the town. Check for the 'Shuttle Stop' signs along the street. The Jitney is a free shuttle service that travels selected routes throughout Cape May on select dates and during select times. The stop for the Mall is located on Lyle Lane at Hill Walkway.
